Steep uphill climb for the Broncos in Kansas City

Hello Broncos Country. The Raincloud looms with the promise of a continued gloomy period of time ahead. Again, the Broncos have reached a new low and the time for accountability is nigh. I expect to see many huge changes tomorrow and before the NFL trade deadline. (Oct 31st) Trade rumors are already flying around. More on that later. The team played poorly last week. Missed tackles and penalties are at the heart of many issues. Brace yourselves for changes.

If I was Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid, I’m trying to set an NFL record for scoring tonight. Maybe multiple records can be broken. We know this team. Mahommes, Kelce and Pacheco will be forces for the Broncos defense to consider. DT Chris Jones will likely wreak havoc on the Broncos O-line.

Former Bronco Mark Schlereth fired shots at Broncos WRs and specifically Jerry Juedy after watching coach’s film of the last game.

“Shame on you because you’re not a professional,” Schlereth said of Juedy on October 10th. “You’re not a professional. And you don’t know what effort is. Your quarterback is under duress, you’re locked up—somebody locks you up in man coverage on an underneath route—to call it trotting would be an insult to trotting. You just quit. You gave up.”

Courtland Sutton was the next target in Schlereth’s sights as he excoriated Sutton for “not coming back to the ball.” when Russell Wilson was scrambling.

Schlereth said neither player could play for him as he circled back to Juedy.

“Jerry Jeudy couldn’t play on the teams I’ve played on if his life depended on it. He’s not tough enough, he’s not focused enough, he’s not good enough, he’s not anything enough.”

As I stated above, trade rumors have started to fly. DE Randy Gregory was traded last week and It’s already known that DE Frank Clark will either be traded or released per Adam Schefter of ESPN. Some fan favorites could be on the move. Players like Justin Simmons, Josey Jewell, Garrett Bolles, Courtland Sutton and Jerry Juedy could all be playing for other teams next week. Brace yourselves Broncos Country. The Broncos could have a good old fashioned fire sale to collect draft picks.

Big changes are coming as I don’t expect the Broncos to shock the world and beat the Chiefs. There will be accountability if it’s a blowout. All I’m saying is, brace yourself. No score prediction today. Chiefs win big.
